This drone is absolutely incredible! As a new hobbyist, my first drone was pretty poor, but it taught me the basics—which I definitely recommend. Once you're comfortable, upgrade to this one, and you won't be disappointed. The 4K video is just as advertised, and I've transmitted footage over 1,000 feet without any interruption. It claims a 10K range, though I haven't pushed it that far yet. Thank you, DJI, for an authentic and rewarding flying experience!

My first unit arrived dead on arrival, but Amazon and the seller quickly sent a replacement while I returned the defective one. Turns out the downward sensor issue is a known problem DJI is still ironing out, so I couldn't even fly the first one. The replacement worked flawlessly out of the box. The carrying case is great—fits easily in my truck with other gear. I use it mostly as a toy and for B-roll footage, and it even came in handy for my yearly chimney and roof inspection. For the price, you honestly can't beat the Mini 4K and its features.
