A worthy successor to the E-M5 and a very good entry-level professional camera/lens combination

A solid upgrade from the E-M5, perfect for serious hobbyists. The controls are intuitive and the camera offers pro-level features. However, the WiFi only works with phones/tablets, not laptops, which is annoying. And Olympus accessories are overpriced—the grip plus power adapter costs $300! Still, I love it overall.

Great camera / lens. Great ordering experience despite hiccup along the way

Ordered this from D-Solution and was initially nervous about buying from South Korea, but the reviews were solid. The processing and delivery were incredibly smooth—I got the camera two days later, which is on par with Prime shipping but from halfway around the world. However, when I opened the box, I found the silver model instead of the black one I ordered. I was worried about dealing with a company overseas, but D-Solution was super responsive and apologetic. They offered to swap it or give a discount if I kept the silver. I ended up keeping it because the silver grew on me, and they even threw in a microfiber cloth and a bonus memory card. Overall, their customer service was amazing, making it painless like Amazon. The camera and lens are fantastic—responsive, configurable, with a learning curve but full control. The lens produces beautiful images, and the constant f/2.8 is great. The 2x crop factor gives a 24-80mm equivalent.
