Is the LoadEase 12Q good for couples?

Reasonably — the 768 pocket springs work independently, which is the design feature that limits motion transfer when a partner tosses and turns, a claimed strength of the 12Q. For the price it's a sensible guest-room or first-apartment choice for two sleepers.

Does the LoadEase 12Q sleep hot?

Less than classic all-foam mattresses — the 12Q's pocketed spring layer lets air move through the core, which is the main cooling advantage of hybrid construction over solid memory foam. The foam comfort layers still hug slightly, so very hot sleepers should add a breathable mattress topper.

How long does the LoadEase 12Q take to expand?

Like any bed-in-a-box, expect the LoadEase 12Q to need several hours to a couple of days to fully decompress to its 12-inch height, with any startup odor fading as it airs out. Unbox it early in the day in a ventilated room and sleep on it that night or the next.
