Should I upgrade from AirPods Pro 2 to AirPods Pro 3?

Only for ANC or heart rate. The honest owner consensus is "better fit, same sound" — the AirPods Pro 3 is a clear upgrade from anything older, but Pro 2 owners should only switch if they specifically want the stronger noise cancellation or the in-ear heart-rate sensor. Either way, compare AirPods Pro 3 prices and trade-in values across sellers on Shopfox first.

Are AirPods Pro 3 comfortable for long wear?

For most, yes — but not universally. The AirPods Pro 3 use a new foam-hybrid ear tip that many owners find more secure and comfortable, while a minority prefer the classic silicone feel of earlier models and report fit issues. If you couldn't get along with in-ear tips before, buy from a seller with easy returns; otherwise the consensus on fit is positive.

How does the AirPods Pro 3 sound?

Clear and detailed, with a divisive twist. Many owners hear an improvement in clarity over the Pro 2, but Apple changed the tuning — some listeners (including audio professionals) find the AirPods Pro 3 brighter than before and miss low-mids. Comfort tip: try all tip sizes before judging, since seal affects bass the most.
