How is the battery on a used iPad Pro M1?

It's the thing to check — five years of cycles means many units show degradation, the one complaint current 2026 owners raise. Ask the seller for battery health, budget for an Apple battery service if it's weak, and treat any listing without battery information skeptically.

Is the iPad Pro M1 good for drawing?

Excellent — with Apple Pencil 2 support, the ProMotion 120Hz display keeps ink latency imperceptible, and the M1 powers Procreate without breaking stride. Digital artists consistently name the 2021 iPad Pro the value sweet spot: flagship drawing hardware at mid-range used prices. Compare refurb listings on Shopfox before buying.

Does the iPad Pro M1 support Stage Manager with an external display?

Yes — the M1 iPad Pro is the oldest model that gained full external-display Stage Manager, turning it into a plausible laptop-style workstation with a monitor and keyboard. That single feature is a big reason the iPad Pro M1 remains the smart used buy over the A12Z generation.
