Is the MacBook Pro (2023) still a good buy today?

The M2 Pro and M2 Max MacBook Pro (2023) remain highly capable for coding, video, and photo work and continue to receive macOS updates, making them a strong value on the used market. Newer M-series models exist but cost more. Compare MacBook Pro (2023) configurations across sellers on Shopfox to find the best deal.

What ports does the MacBook Pro (2023) have?

The 2023 MacBook Pro includes Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, an SDXC card slot, a headphone jack, and MagSafe charging. This mix means many users can connect displays and accessories without dongles. It is a notable convenience compared to older models.

How much RAM and storage can the MacBook Pro (2023) have?

Because the MacBook Pro (2023) uses Apple's unified memory soldered to the chip, you cannot upgrade RAM or SSD after purchase, so choose your configuration carefully. Higher-end M2 Max builds support large memory pools for heavy creative work. Check the exact configuration in each Shopfox listing before buying.
