Can’t run the games I want and lags a lot

It's more of a work laptop—gaming performance is really weak. It lags a ton even on CS:GO.

Excellent performance for the budget-conscious

The ASUS TUF Gaming FX505GT markets itself as a powerful gaming laptop at a modest price. I've been using computers since I was 12—I'm 53 now. I bought this for my 17-year-old son, partly for virtual learning during COVID, but mainly for its gaming performance and reliability compared to other options. Out of the box, it delivers. We're getting 60fps with no lag on his favorite games: GTA5, RDR2, RS2, and my favorite CIV6. It's durable and rugged enough for portable play and school. I'm stuck on my desktop while he's off with his ASUS.
