Amazing little laptop, if it happens to be what you're looking for

I love this little laptop. For $200, nothing else competes. It runs Windows 10 fine after upgrading, and while the hardware is mediocre, I'm surprised by how well it handles programming (Vim, terminal) and everyday browsing. The best part is the fanless design—totally silent—and the battery life is incredible, regularly 10–14 hours of actual use. Downsides: complex sites like Facebook lag, the WiFi card is slow, compiling takes ages, and 2GB RAM means you're constantly running out. It's great for getting work done, not so much for fun. But at this price, it's totally serviceable.

LOVE MY ASUS X205TA

I'm a broke college student needing a cheap, lightweight laptop for school. This one is gorgeous—gold finish, well-built, and light. The keyboard is comfortable, the screen is bright with vibrant colors, and battery life is amazing (13 hours on light use). However, updating to Windows 10 was a nightmare and required a trip to the Microsoft store. Despite that, I love it. Five stars.
