Name: BLU G33 Cell Phones
Brand: BLU

Question 1

Is the BLU G33 good as a first phone for kids?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that is its best use case. The BLU G33 is cheap enough to survive loss or damage, runs parental-control apps on Android 13 Go, has dual SIM for flexibility and covers calls, messaging and basic games fine. Heavy app use will frustrate. For a first phone where cost matters more than power, compare G33 seller ratings and prices on Shopfox before buying.

Question 2

Does the BLU G33 work with Verizon?

Accepted Answer

No — plan around that. The BLU G33 is a GSM-only phone, so it works on AT&T and T-Mobile networks (and their MVNOs like Cricket, Mint or Straight Talk GSM), but it lacks the CDMA and full band support Verizon requires. Check your carrier's bands before buying any budget phone. Compare G33 offers on Shopfox and confirm the listing matches your network.

Question 3

Is the BLU G33 a good phone?

Accepted Answer

For $60, reviewers say it is surprisingly usable: Best Buy buyers rate it around 4.6 stars, praising call quality and battery life for calls, texts, email and light apps. It is not for gaming or heavy multitasking — 2GB of RAM and a quad-core chip set hard limits. As a backup, kid's first phone or minimal-use device, the G33 at current Shopfox prices is solid value.
