Where can I buy the Canon TR4720 cheapest?

Budget all-in-ones discount cyclically at office retailers — the sticker is rarely the street price. Shopfox compares TR4720 listings across sellers with price history and cashback, so the occasional-printer costs occasional-user money.

Why did my TR4720 stop working with ink left?

Possibly the waste-ink pad — an owner-discovered failure mode where the internal reservoir saturates over time and eventually halts the printer. Combined with documented cartridge and supply-system errors, aged TR4720 units hit end-of-life scenarios.

Does the Canon TR4720 do double-sided scanning?

No — the missing duplex ADF scanning is a specifically criticized design gap, even though other PIXMA models include it. Duplex printing exists; automatic double-sided document scanning does not.
