It did not compute.

I didn't trust my own skills, so I handed the new laptop to a professional technician to transfer data from my old 2022 laptop. The old laptop worked fine with another device, so the new one seemed faulty. I requested a return through Amazon, sent it back, and got a refund. Then I bought a replacement from a different source.
