Battery is a hair above dead and unusable

After less than a month, I got a warning that the battery is reaching the end of its usable life. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with everything else on the laptop.

Linux Mint works on it

This laptop works great with Linux Mint. You just need to tap F2 during boot to enter BIOS, disable secure boot, and set USB as the first boot device. It's a bit tricky, but once you get it sorted, the system runs fast. Linux Mint detected all my hardware—WiFi, speaker, printer—without any issues. If you're tired of Windows' constant nagging, this is a solid escape. Dell laptops with Intel hardware are very Linux-friendly. Not for beginners, but for internet, writing, and printing, it's a great choice.
