Compare prices for Dell Dell OptiPlex 5040 Computers

I bought this computer for my automotive dyno and used it only a handful of times. Now it won't boot because the hard drive failed. Upon checking, I found the drive was manufactured in 2020. I understand it's a refurbished unit and reasonably priced, but it's frustrating to see such a failure with minimal use. I expected better reliability.

Unbelievable! Just over 3 months after purchase — way past the Amazon return window — both the ethernet and built-in WiFi stopped working. I had to buy a USB WiFi dongle just to get back online. STG Customer Support was no help; they insisted I send the PC back before they’d ship a replacement. So my office admin is supposed to be without a computer for weeks? No thanks. They offered me a $15 partial refund or a USB dongle as alternatives. Seriously? They expect us to trust them with a working PC, but they won’t trust us to return a broken one.
