Dell U4025QW or LG 40WP95C-W - which 40-inch 5K monitor is better?

The Dell U4025QW generally wins: it matches the LG 40WP95C-W's 40-inch 5120 x 2160 canvas and Thunderbolt 4 hub but offers a higher refresh rate with newer IPS Black contrast technology. The LG sometimes sells cheaper, which is its main argument. Both are pricey, so compare live U4025QW and LG 40WP95C listings and price histories on Shopfox before choosing.

Why is the Dell U4025QW so expensive?

Because it stacks several premium features at once: a 40-inch curved 5120 x 2160 5K2K IPS Black panel, a 120Hz refresh rate that is rare at this resolution, plus a built-in Thunderbolt 4 hub delivering up to 140W charging and multi-port connectivity through one cable. Reviewers rate it among the best productivity monitors. Shopfox helps you find U4025QW deals that soften the premium.

How much does the Dell U4025QW cost?

The Dell U4025QW lists around $2,000, with Amazon often near $1,919 — but open-box and refurbished units currently run roughly $1,200-$1,550. For a 40-inch 5K monitor, that discount is significant. Compare U4025QW offers across sellers and conditions on Shopfox, and review its price history to see whether a bigger drop is likely before you pull the trigger.
