Why is the Fujifilm X100VI so hard to find?

The X100VI went viral on social media, driving demand far beyond Fujifilm's supply, so it frequently sells out and sees inflated resale prices. Waitlists are common at retailers. To pay fair value, compare prices across sellers on shopfox and watch for New vs Refurbished listings rather than overpaying scalpers.

Is the Fujifilm X100VI weather sealed?

It's weather resistant only when you add the optional adapter ring and protective filter, which seals the lens against dust and moisture. Out of the box it lacks full sealing, so use care in rain. This partial approach keeps the body slim while still allowing added protection for outdoor shooting.

Fujifilm X100VI vs X100V, is it a big upgrade?

Yes, meaningfully. The X100VI adds a 40MP sensor over the X100V's 26MP, plus in-body stabilization, subject-detection autofocus, and 6.2K video. The lens and rangefinder-style body stay similar. If you own an X100V it's a nice bump; new buyers should grab the VI. Compare both on shopfox for the best deal.
