I'd give the Jabra Elite 45h a near-perfect 4.75 stars if I could. The only reason I'm docking a quarter point is because the EQ app doesn't work with Windows laptops. Other than that, these $99 headphones are basically flawless. The packaging is minimal yet elegant, and that same clean, high-quality feel carries over once you unbox them. There's no fancy stuff here—no fitness tracking, no active noise cancellation, no ambient mode. But what you get is rich, detailed audio, a super comfortable fit, and a sleek design that's incredibly easy to use. The ear pads are soft and sit on the ears, so they're great if you wear glasses. Out of the box, the sound is exceptional for the price—honestly rivals way more expensive headphones. And if you want to tweak it, the free Jabra Sound+ app lets you EQ to your liking, even with a hearing test that creates a custom profile. The package includes a USB-C cable and a soft case, but no paper manual—though you can download one online. Overall, Jabra has you covered. Highly recommended!

The music quality is very good to excellent once you tweak the EQ in the Jabra app—the out-of-box bass was too weak for me. Since there's no noise cancellation, it works great at home but loses impact in a noisy gym compared to my Beats Solo. If you're working out in public, go with something like Beats. For home listening, the Jabra beats the Beats because the mids and highs are much clearer—listen to Drake's 'Energy' at the 2-minute mark to hear the difference in cymbals. And it's 60% cheaper! The app lets you customize sound for different genres. Comfort-wise, I prefer the Beats, though the Jabra is lighter. The ear pads heat up faster. Build quality is better on the Beats. The Jabra has handy features like voice assistant support and a great mic. For 60% less money, the value is definitely on the Jabra's side.
