All-Around: Great and Versatile

I mainly use these for sound monitoring in professional video work, but lately I've been relying on them for long phone calls, music, movies, and even flights. They're simply amazing. Last night I had a three-hour call, and I could hear the other person clearly even when they weren't talking directly into the mic. The battery has never let me down—the voice prompt tells you the level when you turn them on, and it also announces 'device connected' and so on. The only thing I'd tweak is having a physical on/off switch instead of twisting the ear cups to power them off. That's literally my only complaint. They fit snugly over my ears, and you can connect two devices at once! I did notice a slight weird resonance noise when sitting next to a jet engine during takeoff, but it was minor and lasted maybe ten seconds—probably just the noise cancellation trying to adapt. I paid $299 for these, which is a bit steep, but at $199 they're a great deal. One caveat: I haven't used them in wet weather, so they're not fully weather-sealed.
