A very good Chromebook for my needs, heavier than the old plastic ones

The metal case feels premium but makes it heavier than the old plastic ones. Since weight is key for travel, I'd prefer a polycarbonate chassis.

This one was defective

This Chromebook was defective—it wouldn't connect to WiFi to complete the initial setup, so I could only use it in guest mode. I tried all the troubleshooting steps from the manufacturer and online forums, but nothing worked. Apparently this is a known issue with some models. I've owned several Chromebooks before and never had this problem. The good news is that returning it was easy, so I sent it back. If I get the same model and it works fine, I'll update this review.
