The third party added the memory themselves. After this experience, I’ll only buy straight from the manufacturer next time. Update: The third-party seller was actually great to deal with. They handled everything, made sure it was all sorted out, and their customer service was outstanding—very respectful, attentive, and quick. I don’t blame them at all.
