My last laptop was a ThinkPad that lasted forever, so I stuck with the brand. This refurbished model looks brand new—super clean. It came with all the ports and features listed, so no complaints there. If I wanted different specs, I could have bought a different machine, right? Setup was a breeze thanks to Windows, and I even restored a backup from my old laptop (which couldn't run Windows 11). There were a few hiccups with OneDrive, but that's not the laptop's fault. I love the matte screen finish—though it's not a touchscreen, I might grab a sketch pad for that. The backlit keyboard is a must-have for me, and this one delivers. I'm pretty sure this laptop will handle everything I need until Windows 11 is no longer supported. A couple of things I noticed: my old 14-inch ThinkPad weighed just 3 lbs (featherweight), but this 15-inch one is 4 lbs 3 ozs. It feels a bit heavy, but also very solid. The matte black body attracts fingerprints like crazy—not a deal breaker, but I'll need to clean it often. I appreciate the power button on top where I can see it (my old one had it on the side).
