LeBron 22 vs 21 — worth upgrading?

They're close — comparisons describe the 22 as similar to the 21 with refinements, and one long-term reviewer loves how natural (un-LeBron-like) the 22's fit feels. Coming from a 21, only upgrade when your pair wears out; buying fresh, the 22 is the refined pick.

Is the LeBron 22 good for outdoor courts?

Usable with caveats — outdoor players report the laces being hard to get tight enough, which matters on rougher surfaces. Indoor performance is where the shoe's stability and cushion shine; outdoor hoopers should weigh the lacing complaint and outsole durability.

Does the LeBron 22 have traction problems?

Dust-dependent, per the split reports. Some players hit traction issues; others (including a Tunnel Vision colorway review) found traction fine on clean courts — the pattern points to dust pickup, which a courtside wipe fixes. Wipe your soles and most complaints evaporate.
