A solid upgrade from the E-M5, perfect for serious hobbyists. The controls are intuitive and the camera offers pro-level features. However, the WiFi only works with phones/tablets, not laptops, which is annoying. And Olympus accessories are overpriced—the grip plus power adapter costs $300! Still, I love it overall.

They offered to swap it or give a discount if I kept the silver. I ended up keeping it because the silver grew on me, and they even threw in a microfiber cloth and a bonus memory card. Overall, their customer service was amazing, making it painless like Amazon. The camera and lens are fantastic—responsive, configurable, with a learning curve but full control. The lens produces beautiful images, and the constant f/2.8 is great. The 2x crop factor gives a 24-80mm equivalent.
