iPhone 11 Pro Max vs newer budget iPhones — which is the better buy?

Increasingly the newer phones — while the 11 Pro Max's OLED triple camera still impresses, its updates window has closed against current mid-rangers with years of support left; the 11 Pro Max wins on feel and cameras at $150-250. Value-per-supported-year favors newer. Compare both on Shopfox before committing.

Are refurbished iPhone 11 Pro Max units better than private?

For most buyers yes — the $80-15,000 listing band's working middle sits around $150-350, and refurb channels add battery guarantees and return rights that private sales lack on a six-year-old flagship. Verify battery and camera function either way. Refurb wins for peace of mind.

What does a battery replacement do to an 11 Pro Max total cost?

Add 60-80 dollars — Apple's official battery service or quality third-party cells transform endurance on tired units, so fold that into any low-health listing's price; sellers with documented new batteries price fairly above. Battery state is the 11 Pro Max's biggest value variable. Total-cost thinking wins here.
