Could have been better with a brand new laptop

It handles basic tasks quickly, but starts to lag and get sluggish under heavier workloads. The battery barely lasts 4 hours before dropping to 20%, so I need to recharge it even during normal daily use. I wish I had spent an extra $400 on a brand new laptop instead of this refurbished one. I don't regret it yet, but I feel like I'll need a replacement within 2-3 years, which is sooner than I expected.
