Seems to be defective

I bought this phone for my mother about a month ago. She mainly uses it for calls, and it sometimes fails to make calls. We've already been to the provider and updated the SIM card—everything points to a defective unit. Since Best Buy won't exchange it, I'll have to rely on the manufacturer's warranty. Hopefully they can fix it.
