I recently bought the Sony a7 III with the 28-70mm lens and accessory bundle, and overall I'm really happy – but there's one big caveat if you plan to print large. The good: the accessory bundle is unbeatable. It comes with extra batteries, memory cards, a case, tripod, filters – everything you need to get started. It made unboxing and setup a breeze. I took it to Iceland and it was perfect for digital use. The dynamic range and color science are excellent. The caveat: print quality. When I tried to print 8x10 photos, I noticed blur and softness. The detail doesn't hold up for large prints, which is disappointing since I wanted to start professional photography. For digital use, it's 5/5 stars. For large prints, 3/5. Overall, it's a fantastic entry point, but manage your expectations if you need high-detail large prints.
