Is the Galaxy A51 still worth buying used?

As a secondary or first phone on a very tight budget, yes — the AMOLED display, adequate cameras, and repairability argue for it — but its processor was modest at launch and security updates have ended. Expect patient performance. Anything beyond light duty justifies spending upward.

Galaxy A51 price at launch vs today — what changed?

It debuted at $399 in 2019 as Samsung's mid-range volume play; six years later the used market prices it as a backup phone in the double digits. That depreciation curve is normal for the segment. The screen remains the part that aged best — budget phones still ship worse panels.

How much is a Samsung Galaxy A51 worth in 2026?

Roughly $60-120 used depending on storage and condition — a steep fall from its $399 launch that reflects both age and its famously pleasant Super AMOLED screen still finding buyers. Battery health moves the price meaningfully at this age. Check A51 listings on Shopfox before selling or buying one.

Scammer phone

The phone arrived broken—the volume buttons literally fell off. To make matters worse, as soon as I started using it, my bank account was compromised. Total scam.
