How long will the Galaxy S25 Ultra get software updates?

Samsung offers up to seven years of major Android OS and security updates for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, meaning long-term support well into the early 2030s. That makes it a strong choice for buyers who keep phones for years. Compare New and Refurbished Galaxy S25 Ultra listings on Shopfox to find the best value.

Is the Galaxy S25 Ultra a big upgrade over the S24 Ultra?

The main gains are the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, an upgraded 50MP ultrawide, expanded Galaxy AI features, and slimmer rounded edges, while the display and 200MP main sensor are largely carried over. Whether it is worth upgrading depends on your current phone. Check the Galaxy S25 Ultra price history on Shopfox to time your purchase.

What size and display does the Galaxy S25 Ultra have?

The Galaxy S25 Ultra features a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, making it the largest display in the S25 lineup. It supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. Compare storage tiers and prices for the Galaxy S25 Ultra on Shopfox before you decide.

Unlocked but has Verizon apps

I love that I could upgrade to a refurbished phone for way less than a new one. Only downside is I had to swing by the store to get help removing all the Verizon bloatware.

New to Samsung

I've been an iPhone user since my very first phone, so switching to Samsung has been a refreshing change. Every day I'm discovering new features, and the camera is definitely the standout—it's honestly the main reason I made the leap. I love taking photos, and so far the picture quality has blown me away.
